The following can register for viewing other pages of this website: (a) Strata lot owners; (b) individuals representing corporate owners; (c) tenants who, under section 147 or 148 of the Strata Property Act, have been assigned a landlord’s right to stand for council.

How a Strata Corporation Operates

A strata corporation consists of numbers of units and has a strata council made up of up to 7 member owners/residents, who are elected by at Annual General Meetings, to make decisions related to Strata Corporation business. The Strata Corporation engages a management company to undertake specific duties and responsibilities carried out by the Strata Manager, at the direction of Council. Decisions are made at Council meetings by majority vote unless emergency. On the site front, a  caretaker has been hired to provide specific cleaning and caretaking duties onsite. In addition, the Strata Corporation has entered into various contracts with 3rd parties, to provide maintenance services.
